Kerry Washington Is Not Happy About Her Altered Image On The Cover Of ADWEEK Magazine

It is quite unfortunate that a huge number of women flipping the pages of a magazine would want to look like the girl in the magazine. Well the irony is, the girl in the magazine doesn't even look like the girl in the magazine, not in real life. We are in the era of photo shopping.

So as it happens, movie star, Kerry Washington who is on the cover of ADWEEK magazine, April edition, is not happy about her 'photoshopped' image. The Scandal star is weary that she looks nothing like herself on the cover.

below is some of what she said on the matter as posted on her instagram...

"..... I was taken aback by the cover......i'm no stranger to photoshopping. it happens a lot. in a way we have become a society of picture adjusters......i have had the opportunity to address the impact of my altered image in the past...
....yesterday, however i just felt weary. it felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what i look like when i look in the mirror. it's an unfortunate feeling....
....that being said, i'm very proud of the article.... i like some of the inside images a great deal..."

sorry gurl. not a good feeling.  i really like d monochrome theme though.
