SENATOR BUKOLA SARAKI'S APPEAL DISMISSED BY THE COURT OF APPEAL

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has today dismissed the appeal filed by senate president, Bukola Saraki challenging his trial by the Code of Conduct Tribunal. He is being tried in a 13 count charge of false asset declaration when he was governor of Kwara State.
The court dismissed the the appeal on the ground that it lacks merit. this means the Code of Conduct Tribunal will continue with Saraki's trial which has been adjourned to November 5th.
