 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday October 2, 2015, filed a 9-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N3.1 billion at a Federal High Court, Abuja, against ex-governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswan.


 According to EFCC spokeperson, Wilson Uwujaren, Suswam and his former Finance Commissioner, Omodachi Okolobia are alleged to have diverted proceeds of the sale of shares owned by the Benue State government and Benue Investment and Property Company Limited. This offence according to EFCC is punishable under section 15(3) of the Money Laundering (Prohibited) Act. 2011(as amended in 2012).

Suswan's arraignment was set for today, November 4th before a Federal High Court, Abuja.

Nigeria's A-list music artist, SEYI SHAY recently released sunning new photos  in a photo editorial tagged "the corruption of eve"| directed by photographer, Remi Adetiba. The shoot took place at Lekki Conservative Center, Lagos. "Corruption of Eve" is on display at Miliki lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Seyi who has been signed on by Island Records, an international music label, is set to release her debut album "seyi or shay" come November 13, 2015.

 Being a Lawyer is not just noble but a beautiful thing. However, for some in the profession, the low side is usually the 'fit n proper' dress code. yeah! you are limited to corporate wears of the colours; white, black, grey and dark blue, especially if you are one to venture the court rooms.
well, today i decided to spice up my simple black n grey outfit with a blue Tote(not so lawyer-ly some may say?). Lawyer or no lawyer, black shall not become me.

A lot of definitions have been given to the word 'success' both subjectively n objectively. What is common in all of them is the fact that success comes with a price tag and/or a trial period.

More often than not, to excel in a thing, you would need to learn and relearn, attempt again n again, fail at it but try even again. The success story of great men/women would attest to this.

So, if you are failing at the moment at a thing, don't count yourself a failure. Learn from your mistakes n keep at it till you succeed. Thomas Edison is a great inspiration here. He attempted to invent the light bulb n only succeeded at his 100th attempt. He later said that he learnt of 99 ways of not making a light bulb.
